National Inventor Club Usage Policy (April 2022)

Copyright 2021 NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB

DO NOT PUBLISH ENABLING DETAILS OF INVENTIVE SUBJECT MATTER UNLESS YOU HAVE FILED A PATENT APPLICATION FIRST, UNLESS YOU ARE KNOWING DEDICATING THE ENABLED INVENTIVE SUBJECT MATTER TO WORLD. DO NOT DISCLOSE TRADE SECRETED SUBJECT MATTER.

The NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB website operates as a platform to disclose inventor-supplied information to enable collaboration, research, networking and sharing of resources between members. Any presented information, therefore, is nationally and internationally accessible, and may be characterized as a “printed publication” under U.S. Law, and the law of most other countries. While the U.S. provides a one-year grace period for filing for U.S. patent protection (as long as the inventor is the first inventor to file), many other countries’ patent laws do not. Hence, a public disclosure at the website may inadvertently “dump” otherwise protectable patentable subject matter into the public domain.

NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB, therefore, strongly advises consulting with local intellectual property (IP) counsel, and protecting any IP rights before you publicly disseminate. This might include preparing and filing a provisional or non-provisional patent application filing in the US, or non-US countries before any such public disclosure.

Further, the various consultants, model makers, mold makers, marketing agents, US and non-US manufacturer’s, accountant’s, and/or other potential agent’s and consultant’s whose expertise’s, and/or contact information may be found at the website, are not affiliated in any way with the NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB. Engaging these non-Affiliates for their respective services does not create privacy between you and NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB. Likewise, products offered for sale, product information, services information and any claims made about the products and/or services have not been evaluated and/or verified by NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB. Such information is provided for informational purposes only, and users rely upon same at their own risk.

NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB makes absolutely no guarantees for success of any product marketed or otherwise identified at the NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB website, or that presenting a product or service at the NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB website will realize success in the marketplace; there are no refunds of payments made for membership hereof.

NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB does not solicit, sell or otherwise manage member information, whether solicited from members by other members or not: all information provided for presentation at the website will be publicly disclosed. Providers, and not NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB, are responsible for the accuracy of information presented and/or the safety and operability of their respective products. Upon finding any erroneous information at the website, please notify us so that we may investigate and notify the manufacturer(s)/ distributor(s).

Finally, NATIONAL INVENTOR CLUB maintains the exclusive right to revoke any membership, remove or not remove any content, including advertisements or announcements, without refund.
